Question
Can I add sister to my policy?
Can I add my sister (beginner driver, no driver license yet) to my policy? Will my rates go up? I am 26 and have a clean driving record.
Answer
If your sister lives with you or uses your vehicle regularly, she can be added to your policy. Given her age and lack of driving experience, I would prepare for a big increase in your premium. 16-year-olds, out of any age, are the most expensive drivers to insure.
