Question

Can my adult children who don’t live with me be on my car insurance policy?

In Maryland, can my adult children who are living on their own with cars that are titled in my name stay on my auto insurance policy?

Daughter 1: 25 years old, not living in my house, living in the same state as I do, with a car at that residence that is titled in my name

Daughter 2: 22 years old, not living in my house, living in the same state as I do, with a car at that residence that is titled in my name

Although you are all living in the same state, insurance is rated at the zip code level. So, in this scenario, they would need their own policies. However, because you have an invested interest in the vehicle as well, you can be listed as an “additional interest” for both of your daughter’s vehicles.
