My insurance company told us we could not get comprehensive on our car due to our credit. Is this true? We live in North Carolina.
I couldn’t tell you with any certainty whether or not that is the case since I don’t work for that company, but it’s certainly possible since each company has their own set of underwriting requirements. Either way, I can imagine that you aren’t satisfied by their response, and with good reason. If you are having a problem with them then it’s time to contact a different agent or shop for a new company. You should be able to find a company willing to offer the coverage you are wanting.
