Question

What can I expect to pay for first time car insurance?

I’m 29 years old, I will be 30 in 2 months. I’ve had my license for 4 years. I’m looking to lease my first car. I’ve never had insurance before. I live in Queens, New York. I want to know how much car insurance will run me a month/year on leasing a 2018 Nissan Maxima? Also would like to know if it would be cheaper for me to wait 2 months until I’m 30 or would that not matter?

Waiting until you're 30 will not really impact your rate. The bigger rating factor will be your lack of insurance history. Although you have had a license, car insurance companies see a lack of insurance history as a red flag and charge accordingly. Your best bet is to shop around with as many companies as possible.
