Can you insure a vehicle with multiple drivers on the same policy?

My dad has a Chevy HHR and has it insured under his name. My question is basically, can you have another person’s name on the insurance of the same car?

Most insurance companies allow up to four drivers on a single policy. Some companies may even allow a larger number of drivers than that, but four is fairly standard. You should also have the option to be listed as an Additional Named Insured, which would give you the same rights under the policy as your dad and doesn’t cost any extra.
