Can I be listed on the same policy as a driver in another state?

If me and a relative both live in different states could I still be listed on their car policy as a driver?

This can be tricky but the simple answer is yes, you can be listed on their policy if you live in another state. However, if you will be driving the car in a different state than where it is registered, the majority of the time, you will need to register the car in that state. The owner of the car would need to register the car in that state but if you are not the owner, the title would need to be transferred into your name.  Every company is different so make sure to check with your company for their specific rules. Good luck and if you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to ask.
