Question
Can I still tell my car insurance company about an accident
Can I still report the car to insurance even though I didn’t at the time of accident? They’re charging me 700 this month because I never originally sent them pictures of my car. Should I fight to bring the price down or should I just pay the 700 since the car is now totaled?
Answer
In Florida, the statute of limitations for filing a claim is 4 years. I'm not sure what you mean by "They’re charging me 700 this month because I never originally sent them pictures of my car." I think I am missing some information. I would give your insurance company all the information you have available, including the photos from the accident and any police report you might have. Here is some more information regarding filing a claim and what you can expect. Best of luck.
