Question

Can't take car out of impound without proof of insurance

What should I do? I got a quote for insurance but I also have to pay for the towing and lot fee in addition to paying for the first month of insurance. Is there anything I can do to lower my cost? The only real solution in this case would be to purchase a basic auto policy as quickly as possible since the impound lot will not release the vehicle until you can prove that it is insured. Asking for the absolute minimum coverage will at least meet the requirement to take your car home. You will incur a daily fee as long as the vehicle stays on the lot so the longer it takes to get the policy the larger your total fees will be when getting the vehicle so move quickly to save yourself money."}" data-sheets-userformat="{"2":769,"3":[null,0],"11":4,"12":0}">The only real solution in this case would be to purchase a basic auto policy as quickly as possible since the impound lot will not release the vehicle until you can prove that it is insured.
