Question

If I am covered by two different policies, can I be removed from one?

I used to share a vehicle with my twin and we paid for a policy that covered both of us. Eventually, my dad bought a second car for me and he pays for the insurance on that vehicle. Do I still need to be covered with my twin if my dad is now paying for my insurance?

If you are listed as a driver on the policy that your father is paying then you would no longer need to be listed on your sister's policy. However, if your dad is insuring your new car but you are not listed then you need to be added as a driver to that policy. The main concern is that you are listed as a driver on the policy that covers your primary vehicle.
