Question

What is the discount rate like when you give proof of prior insurance?

I had a lapse in my coverage, not sure how long the lapse was though. I'm an eighteen year old male, and I was recently excluded from my mom's policy and don't know if I'll get heavy fees for having a lapse in my insurance.

In Arizona, the average difference between having no insurance history versus five years of high bodily injury and property damage limits (100/300/100) is about $238. However, I do not have any data for unknown lapses in coverage. An issue you might run into is that certain companies require 6 months of continuous coverage in order to qualify for their company.
