Question

Do I still need to pay my monthly premium if my car was totaled?

I was in an accident that was NOT my fault. This made my car unable to be driven. I was hit by another car that didn’t stop at their stop sign. My car is now waiting to be declared totaled but my insurance payment is due. Do I still have to pay it?

Sorry to hear about the accident. You should have no need to insure the vehicle further. Before canceling, however, I would call the state motor vehicle department and deactivate the tags and plate if needed. That way if they see the vehicle is uninsured you don't get accidentally tagged with a suspension on the totaled car
