Should I drop full coverage on my truck?

My truck is 16 yrs old, approx 60,000 miles in excellent shape, I'm trying to decide whether to or not drop my full coverage insurance on it

That's always a tough decision for a car owner, but really it is up to you. A general rule of thumb in the world of insurance is if the vehicle is worth less than $4,000, you probably don't need physical coverage (aka, "full coverage" which is comprehensive and collision coverage). I would use Kelley Bluebook online as well as NADA to get an estimate for the value of your vehicle. If you're looking for more information about lowering your coverage options, see our article here about owned cars.
