When filling out quotes, do I have to disclose an accident that my friend had while driving my car?

A friend of mine got into an accident in my car while it was not insured. I’m currently looking for a new insurance policy and need to know how to answer the question about my driving history honestly. If I wasn’t the driver, does that mean I still have to list the accident?

The questions pertains to you as a driver. The same would go for tickets. If your friend was issued a speeding ticket while driving your car then the ticket would impact them and not you directly. The exception would be if you did have insurance on the vehicle at the time of the accident and then filed a claim, which would have been listed on your CLUE report. Since it wasn’t insured, however, it should not impact your driving record.
