I got a ticket driving a friend's car. I have my license but did not yet have personal insurance. I’m going tomorrow to get it, will they know?

I didn’t have insurance but her car did, and I'm not sure who that ticket will affect even though it was mine.

You should be fine as far as any insurance-related issues with the vehicle go. The state checks the VIN of the insured vehicle and not the listed drivers. Any moving violation will get charged against your record and not your friend's insurance. When you go to get insurance, the ticket will show up once it is charged to your record.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
