Question

I was rear-ended, but I'm an excluded driver. Will the damages still be covered?

I was at a yield sign when a car rear-ended me. I'm an excluded driver on the insurance. Is the other person still responsible for the vehicle and injuries?

Typically, when you are hit from behind the other driver is at fault. In this case, their insurance company would be responsible for the damages. Being excluded would not impact the other insurance company covering the damages. If you were found at-fault then the claim would likely not be covered. Every situation is different, so you will want to contact the other insurance company as soon as possible.

Have a great day.
