If an uninsured driver hits me with an insured car, will their insurance still cover the damages?
The person who caused the accident is not on the insurance policy but the car is insured under her father’s name. Also she does not have a license.
You should still file the claim. Unless the driver is excluded from the policy, the insurance company will still likely honor your claim against the insurance. If they deny the claim, you should seek other manners of getting the claim paid.
