I have a loan on my car but don't drive do i need insurance
I am not driving my car for personal reasons but i owe payment do i need to have insurance still i live in Missouri? I have a car with a loan on it but i wont be driving it for personal reasons and wanna jus leave it sitting for a year or to i live and Missouri and i was wondering if i have to carry full coverage on a car I'm not driving?
Because you have a loan on the car, you more than likely will have to carry comprehensive and collision coverage as well as your state-required liability insurance. This is because whoever holds the loan has a financial investment in the vehicle and if anything were to happen to it, they would be left vulnerable. Moreover, your state's laws prevent you from having anything less than the state liability limits. Which, in Missouri, is 25/50/10 plus 25/50 limits of uninsured motorist coverage.
