Question

Looking to drop full coverage

I have a 2011 Nissan Versa with about 95,000 miles in good condition. My 17 1/2yr old daughter will now drive to school and back. She was on a 2003 Honda with just liability and property. Is it safe to say the Nissan is too old for full coverage?

Only you can make the decision whether or not to drop full coverage or not. But your best bet is to determine the value of the vehicle through Kelley Blue Book or NADA. A general rule of thumb in the insurance world, is if the value of the vehicle is worth less than $4,000, you might not need your collision and comprehensive coverage.
