Question

What options does my daughter have if she had an accident without being listed on her wife's car insurance?

My daughter was driving her wife's vehicle and hit another vehicle but was not covered on the insurance. My daughter does not have a drivers license and has no insurance. Will her wife's insurance still cover the damages?

Since your daughter was driving her wife's car, a claim that is filed will likely be denied because you must list your spouse on the insurance policy. You have to list your spouse because they have regular access to the vehicle and you share financial responsibility. If your daughter does not have a license she can be excluded on the policy but she would still not be covered. Either way, there is a chance that the claim will be denied and then your daughter will be held responsible.
