What do I put in a quote if I don't have a credit history
I'm a young and new driver and don't have established credit history. What do I put in the credit question section?
Not having a credit history doesn't mean you have bad credit but it will take time to build credit. I suggest speaking directly with an agent and seeing what they suggest as it could be company-specific. Certain companies won't write policies for you if you don't have a credit or write a policy for you with a subsidiary company. Moreover, because your credit is such a big rating factor, I would be hesitant to simply guess. According to our state of insurance reports, the difference between those with "great" credit and those with "poor" is about $1,430 per year.
