Question

Does RV insurance count as prior car insurance coverage?

I'm 66 and had car insurance all my life until purchasing the RV 1 1/2 years ago. I have full coverage on the RV. Sold car, only RV Insurance for the past 1 1/2 years. What do I say now when shopping car insurance and it asks if I am currently insured?

RV insurance doesn't count for continuous auto insurance coverage. On an auto insurance application, you are not currently insured unless you currently have an auto insurance policy. Insurance companies will consider you to have a lapse in coverage. The Zebra can quote you with several companies at once. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask. For more information, see our additional resources below.
