Question

Is there a time of year that is cheapest to buy insurance?

I know that certain things are cheaper depending on the time of year, like tv’s and appliances, but is there a time of year when insurance is cheapest? I need to buy insurance but I’m needing a deal on it so I don’t pay too much.

Unfortunately for consumers there isn’t a “Black Friday” for car insurance. Insurance companies are regulated by each state and providing discounted rates for buying at certain times is not legal. The best thing you can do to find the lowest rate is to compare quotes between as many companies as possible. Since each company prices their coverage differently, comparing is the only way to ensure you’re getting the best deal.
