Will my insurance company pay for an attorney?

I was involved in an accident a little more than a month ago. There was dispute about who is at-fault in the accident and I haven’t heard anything for a few weeks. I just received legal paperwork about a lawsuit filed against me. What am I supposed to do?

Lawsuits can be an unfortunate consequence of a car accident, but that doesn’t mean you’re on your own. Your insurance company should provide representation for you in court, but you will need to contact them immediately. Most court filings have require a time limit to respond and your attorney will want as much time as possible to prepare your defense.
