Can I purchase a non-owners auto policy for my 22 yr old daughter and will that be cheaper all around? She currently attends college and drives 45mls round trip there are times she would have to use a friend car or another family members car
A non-owners policy is cheaper than a standard policy. To qualify for a non-owners, your daughter cannot own a car or have regular access to a specific car. If she drives any specific vehicle more than once a month. If she lives in your home while she is at college, she would need to be listed on your policy and not qualify for a non-owners policy because she would have regular access to your vehicle. Good luck and if you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
