About The General offers great rates on auto insurance to all types of drivers. Whether you have great driving record, had a gap in coverage, or been in an accident, we have a rate for you! At Amica Mutual Insurance, you'll be protected with an affordable auto policy that's customized to fit your needs, complete with unbeatable customer service.
Roadside Assistance The General provides optional Towing and Labor coverage in select states to pay for the cost of towing your car if it becomes disabled. Comprehensive and collision coverage is a prerequisite for purchase. The General also offers a Roadside Assistance plan that is administered by Nation Safe Drivers (NSD). This optional program provides 24-hour assistance for towing and other emergency services. Amica's roadside assistance program is available 24 hours a day to help with jump-starting a dead battery, changing a flat tire, delivering fuel if you run out of gas, and a towing up to 15 miles to the nearest repair facility.
Additional Discounts Amica offers additional discounts for "loyalty", a "tenure" discount for the length of time you were with your prior company, and a legacy discount to drivers under 30 who were covered by Amica on a family member's policy.
