Recent QuestionsShould I choose a company that is cheaper for my auto insurance or my home?
There's a couple of things to think about. While price is important, I would make sure you have equal coverage for your home and your auto from both Travelers and State Farm.
Are some insurance providers better suited to my needs than others to get the best rate?
Because most coverage options can be matched across insurance companies, I think what you are really looking for is the best customer service/claims support for the best cost. Right off the bat, I know Geico probably wouldn't be an option for you with a leased vehicle.
What is an ADOT Code?
The code for it should be listed on your ID card from Travelers. If you don't see it on there call Travelers Customer service line.
My daughter got into an accident using my vehicle, will my insurance pay for the damages she caused?
Normally the liability coverage on your policy should pay for damage caused to another driver, even if your daughter wasn't currently listed on your policy. However, some insurance companies require anyone who lives in the household be listed on the policy - either included or excluded in order for them to properly determine the risk.

Can I use my roadside assistance if I'm in my friends car?
When you have roadside assistance through your insurance company, the service is only available on the vehicle that the coverage is listed. There are other roadside companies that will allow you to use the roadside no matter whose vehicle you are in.
What do I do if my vehicle was totaled while parked?
I would definitely involve your insurance company and let them know about the situation. The other driver's insurance company should be paying for your damage up to the limit of that policy, but if it doesn't cover everything then your current company should be able to help cover the rest.
Do I need a police report to file a claim?
Accidents that occur on private property do not require a police report in order to file a claim. Your familiarity with the other driver does not impact your ability to file a claim, however the fact that he is uninsured means that you will have to pay your deductible for the repairs.
Do I contact the other driver's insurance company if they hit me while at the gas station?
If the other party hit your vehicle, and it's pretty clearly they're at fault, then you should contact their insurance for repairs. Parking lot accidents or accidents that occur on private property can be difficult to determine fault, but it sounds like the incident is pretty straight forward.
