David Seider is the Chief Commercial Officer at The Zebra, where he leads revenue strategy, agency operations, and strategic partnerships across the insurance ecosystem. Before joining The Zebra, David was a Partner at Weatherford Capital, a growth equity firm managing over $1 billion in committed capital. There, he led investments and portfolio management for companies including SOMA Global, Branch, HDVI, Stellar, and The Zebra—gaining deep exposure to the insurtech and broader financial services sectors.
Earlier in his career, David held leadership roles in mergers and acquisitions at Roper Technologies and Ballast Point Ventures, focusing on investments in healthcare, technology, and insurance-adjacent sectors. He began his career at Fortegra Financial, a specialty insurance and warranty company, as part of its Leadership Development Program.
David holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Florida and an M.B.A. from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, where he graduated with highest honors as a Fuqua Scholar.
