To get an exact answer to your question you would need to contact State Farm directly, but generally most insurance companies will allow up to four cars on a policy. However, keep in mind that some companies have rules about how many cars you can list per number of drivers. For instance, if you only have one driver on your policy then some companies may only allow you to list two cars. Again, check with State Farm for their exact rules.

Good luck and if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Will my renters policy cover additional living expenses?

Unfortunately, renters insurance only covers your personal property and personal liability - not the property itself or displacement due to an issue with the dwelling. Since it is an issue with the dwelling, your landlord should have coverage for this type of issue on their policy. I would check wi…

I want to get my own car insurance, but my mom won't let me.

Because your mother has an umbrella policy through AAA, she is likely required to have you listed as a driver on her full coverage policy. This is a common requirement with car insurance carriers who offer umbrella insurance. The only thing you could do is have your mom check with AAA to see if the…

If my daughter caused less than $1,000 in damage to another car, should we still file a claim or pay out of pocket?

I would agree with your assumption. In Kentucky, an at-fault accident impacts rates by an average of $917 per year in 2016. Since the accident will impact her rate for 3 years, that's quite a bit more than the cost of the repair. I would recommend paying for the other driver's damage out …

Can an insurance company force me to be added to a policy?

Thanks for reaching out to The Zebra. It is normal for insurance companies to require anyone in the household (of driving age) to be listed on a policy, "just in case." Even if you don't ever plan on driving their cars, insurers know that things come up and there is always a small ch…
