About Get the protection you need at a price you can afford with State Farm; offering packaged options, discounts and custom coverage to meet any driver's needs. From car insurance to homeowners, motorcycle, and renters coverage, Esurance will be there for you from quote to claim with lightning-fast claims and proven financial strength.
Roadside Assistance State Farm's Emergency Road Service offers mechanical labor at the place of breakdown, the towing of your vehicle to a repair facility, removal of a stuck vehicle, delivery of gas or oil, assistance with changing a tire or a jumpstart, and locksmith services. Esurance's Emergency Roadside Service will pay up to $75 towards roadside services including towing assistance, tire changes, gas, oil, and water delivery, battery service and lockout service. You may need to have comprehensive and collision coverage as a prerequisite to add this coverage to your policy.
Additional Discounts State Farm offers an additional discount for vehicles made in 1994 or later, depending on the loss experience of the vehicle make and model. Esurance offers an additional discount for customers who have obtained emergency road assistance from a provider other than Esurance (such as AAA or the National Automobile Club).
Recent Questions My car was towed by an apartment complex, will State Farm reimburse me for the towing cost?
Roadside assistance covers towing but it won't cover your car being towed by someone else. Your insurance company will not cover the cost of your car being towed from parking in the wrong location.
I started a claim but canceled it with no payout. Why is it on my CLUE report?
Unfortunately, if you start the claims process, the insurance company can list it on your CLUE report through LexisNexis which contains your claims history — even if there was no payout or resolution. You can dispute with State Farm to see if they will remove it, but at this point, that is really the only option which is definitely frustrating.
Does State Farm cover rodent damage to my car's electrical wiring through comprehensive coverage?
While I can't speak specifically for State Farm, most companies will cover damage caused by a rodent under comprehensive coverage. For specifics about your State Farm policy, you will want to contact them directly.
Does State Farm match auto insurance quotes with other companies?
In truth, no. Car insurance companies determine their rates based on their previous years' filings (loss to revenue ratio) in addition to other factors.

Can Esurance deny a refund if I forgot to cancel my policy when I switched to a new company?
This sounds like an company issue and not a state law. Insurance companies in Illinois are legally required to issue refunds for "unearned premium", but you didn't prepay your bill.
