American Family vs. 21st Century: high-risk insurance rates

If you are saddled with an at-fault accident, speeding ticket, reckless driving citation, or DUI on your record, American Family could be a better choice than 21st Century. Every car insurance company prices its policies differently, so it's worth comparing quotes to understand which insurer suits you.

American Family vs. 21st Century: rates by age

Insurers rely on a driver's age as an indicator of potential risk, pricing premiums accordingly. Car insurance is commonly most expensive for beginning and young drivers — due to their inexperience — and most affordable for drivers aged 25 or older. Because every insurance company prices ages in a different way, it's a smart move to shop around.

As a general rule, teen drivers should choose American Family instead of 21st Century: American Family offers average yearly savings of $1,423, compared to 21st Century.
