Grace period for buying car insurance in GA from private seller

IS it a Georgia law when buying a car from a private seller that there is a grace period to get it insured? I am already insured and wanted to buy another car.

While all cars need to be registered and insured by law in Georgia. Most of the time, your current coverage will transfer to any new vehicle or replacement vehicle. But this can vary. I would contact your current car insurance company regarding their rules and regulations on buying a vehicle. Best of luck.

Parking tickets do not get reported to your state's DMV so this type of ticket won't affect your insurance rate. One major caveat is whether or not you pay off the ticket.
