My liability only car was hit by a stolen vehicle

My car was parked legally in my drive way, was involved in a hit-and-run with a stolen car, should onwer's ins. cover damages? My car was parked legally in my driveway, I only had liability at the time and my car was totaled. The driver was found Owner of the stolen vehicle's insurance denied my first claim. Should the owner of stolen vehicle's insurance cover the damages to my car? Doesn't insurance follow the car and then her insurance has to go after the kid who was driving?

Unfortunately, the owner of the vehicle that was stolen isn't liable because the fact they didn't give permission to the driver negates any coverage. The individual who stole the vehicle and caused the damage is responsible. I would contact the owner of the vehicle to get the police report information and potentially contact a lawyer.

Will my State Farm car insurance cover damage to a person's balcony?

This one’s a little tricky. In most cases, your State Farm auto policy won’t cover a rented moving truck, because personal car insurance typically excludes larger vehicles like U-Hauls. The new insurance company is likely to find out about the accident, but that will come from your driving reports when you buy your policy. The majority of insurance companies request a motor vehicle report (MVR) and a comprehensive loss underwriting exchange (CLUE) report to verify the accuracy of …
