What does a Progressive declarations page look like?

A declarations page (commonly referred to as the "dec page") hosts the most important information about your insurance policy — who is covered, what is covered, and for which limits. For Progressive customers, your declarations page looks like this:

How to read your declarations page by section:

Policy number: This is your unique policy number, which you’ll need when filing a claim.
Policy term: Lists the effective date and expiration date of your policy.
Policyholder name and address: The address listed must be that of the policyholder and the primary location at which the vehicle is kept.
Vehicle information: The insured car's make, model, year and VIN are listed here.
Coverages, limits and deductibles: Lists bodily injury and property damage liability (required), as well as any elected coverages such as comprehensive, collision, etc. The limits list the maximum amount that each coverage will pay as well as any required deductible you have to pay out of pocket.

How to find your Progressive declarations page online

To access your declarations page online, you must be logged in to your account on Progressive's website. On your home page, you will see a box with the image depicted below. Select "Get Proof of Insurance."

Next, select "Declarations Page" from this menu. You will then see a list of documents labeled as the declarations pages for each policy term. Select the one you need; the appropriate declarations page will open a new window.

How to find your declarations page on Progressive's mobile app

If you need to access your declarations page on the go, the Progressive mobile app also keeps your documents handy.

Step 1: Log in to the Progressive app with your credentials.
Step 2: Scroll to the "Things to do" section and select "ID Cards and Documents."
Step 3: Click "other documents"; this will trigger a pop-up warning you that you must navigate to the mobile site. Select "go to site."
Step 4: Make sure Declarations Page is selected in the drop-down menu. Click the PDF hyperlink under the appropriate policy term to see your full declarations page.
