Our goal at The Zebra has always been simple: to make shopping and saving on insurance simpler. After all, no one loves spending hours comparison shopping, when they can enter their info in one place and get quotes from hundreds of insurance companies at the click of a button. 

In the interest of continuing to simplify insurance shopping and management, we’re introducing a new wallet feature. If you’ve shopped with us before and/or purchased a policy, you can now log-in and find all of your information, quotes and policies saved in one place in The Zebra Wallet. 

How The Zebra Wallet works

If you’ve used The Zebra before to shop for rates or purchase a policy, navigate to the top of the screen where you’ll see a login button. You can also access the log-in screen directly here. You will be prompted to enter your email. 

Once you enter the email you used previously when you entered your information in The Zebra, you will receive a link to your email. Clicking this link will take you to your wallet dashboard. 

 

If you have previously searched with us but not purchased a policy, you will see your previous quotes. You can also easily re-shop and refresh your quotes. You can also talk to an agent if you have any questions or set a reminder to shop later. 

 

 

If you have purchased a policy or policies, you will see those in the dashboard.

You can request changes and updates, if needed. Clicking the link under the policy to request changes will display the phone number you need. Depending on your policy, the phone number may be for The Zebra agency or directly to the insurance company that carries the policy.  

 

What’s next?

Right now, this account gives you access to a wallet where you can access all of your policies, even through different providers all in one place. However, we have plans for additional features to roll out very soon. Keep an eye out for:

  • Automatic re-shop. Imagine if you don’t even need to re enter your info or remember to shop when your policy is up for renewal. With this feature, your new quotes will show up automatically alongside your existing policies so you can compare what your next best move is. 
  • Policy ID cards. Soon you can keep even more policy information in one place, so you don’t have to juggle multiple carrier apps to reference your policy information and download your ID cards.

FAQs about The Zebra Wallet

These are some common questions about using your wallet. 

You don’t need a password for your account to access the wallet. By using the email you used when you entered your information into The Zebra, you will be directed to your email for a link to log-in.

If you navigate to the section of the dashboard in the left navigation marked “Quotes” it should take you to the most up to date quotes available for you and you can click through those links to make a final purchase. Alternatively, you can click the “Speak to a Licensed Agent” button to be connected to one of The Zebra’s insurance agent who can go through your best options.

It’s a good idea to shop for insurance every six months or after a major life event because as circumstances change, so too does what you pay. If you want to go ahead and set a reminder to re-shop, so you can’t forget, click “Get Started” next to “I want to shop later.” You’ll find this underneath your existing quotes or policies. You will then be prompted to set a date in the future where you will receive a notification to re-shop.

You can find links to “Request changes” beneath each of your active policies. This will provide the phone number you need in order to make changes. That might be The Zebra or your insurance company.
