While I cannot speak to the details of your personal insurance policy, generally GEICO's roadside assistance does provide lockout services for up to $100. However, this does not mean that they would pay for the services directly, but instead would reimburse you after-the-fact if you were to submit a claim. To get help, GEICO recommends using their app, requesting assistance online, or calling them directly. Good luck!

Will comprehensive insurance cover damages caused by road debris?

Sorry to hear about your accident. If you have comprehensive coverage, it should cover any damages caused by debris. However, just like collision coverage, it will usually have a deductible. I would suggest using our claims calculator to see if it's worth filing a claim or simply paying for th…

Does State Farm match auto insurance quotes with other companies?

In truth, no. Car insurance companies determine their rates based on their previous years' filings (loss to revenue ratio) in addition to other factors. State Farm and GEICO have different loss histories and net profits, and therefore will have different quotes (with no reason or incentive to …

What is the statute of limitations to file a claim with GEICO in Vermont

Because of this, I recommend getting an estimate for the repairs prior to filing a claim. If the value of the repairs are less than the rate increase you would receive plus your deductible (so, $2,080 + $500 to $1,000), I recommend repairing the vehicle yourself. If you do file a claim, here is mor…
