Insurance companies rely on a driver's age to outline risk potential, pricing premiums accordingly. A car insurance policy is commonly priciest for beginning and young drivers — due to their inexperience — and relatively affordable for drivers aged 25 or older. Because each insurance company evaluates age brackets in a different way, it's wise to compare rates and find a great fit.
As a general rule, teen drivers should choose Amica instead of Liberty Mutual: the former's average annual rates are $1,193 less than the latter's..
