Question

Husband is in prison, how do I handle the car insurance?

My husband is in prison and his driving record is causing me to be uninsurable by all insurance companies. Lots of tickets, a DUI, etc. What should I do? I need to be insured.

You can exclude your husband from the policy if he is not driving the car. This means he would not be covered to drive but his driving history and status would not impact your rates. Sometimes there is an additional fee for having an excluded driver but that will vary by company. We can quote you at The Zebra with several companies at once. You can also give us a call at 833-768-7789. Good luck and if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.
